God Takes Pleasure in His People!

For the Lord takes pleasure in His people;
He will beautify the humble with salvation.

(Psalm 149:4)

The word "salvation" there is literally  העושׁי yᵉshuw‘ah -- Yeshua! Jesus. We are made beautiful by Jesus. (see Romans 8:29) And God takes great pleasure in us. We are as lilies among thorns to Him. (see Song of Songs 2:2) His heart is so gracious!
